You need to make sure that the domain is ready before you place a transfer request for the domain. It needs to meet the following conditions:

  • Domain Registry lock is Unlocked on your current registrar. (Status should be OK or Active on WHOIS Record)
  • Domain should be registered at the previous registrar for more than 60 days because there is an auto-transfer lock for 60 days after every new domain registration.
  • You need to have access to the Auth/EPP code of your domain. You can get this from the previous domain providers domain control panel. Getting the EPP code is slightly different for different registrars. Most of the time you can see the EPP code directly from the management area but sometimes you might need to request the code and get it via email.

All those criteria are for active domains only. If you want to transfer an expired domain, please contact us via support ticket first for further assistance.

By making sure of those criteria, you will be able to place the domain transfer request of your domain on It Nut Hosting and it will be initiated successfully.
